The idea for this chair was to create an illusion of the seat suspended on two round beams. To enhance this feeling of lightness, all the elements are soft, with no use of the sharp angles.

The concept raised a technical difficulty, due to the material requirement – the chair could use nothing but spruce planks. Therefore, the additional support of the seat was necessary. In the end, though, I believe I achieved the desired look pretty closely.
