Being consumed
We are living in the world of a constant consumption, where the capitalism dictates what, when and for how much we should buy. People often aren’t aware of these mechanisms and are either manipulated into buying goods of the lower quality – and hence buying more often – or are left with no choice to do that.
This project aims to show that the constant purchase of fast produced and low-quality products results in a lot of unnecessary wastes that pollute our surroundings. By making people aware of these mechanisms, I tried to make them reconsider the number of products they buy, regardless of whether they seem to be recyclable.
For soon, what is being consumed today will consume us.
